Thank you for your order! There are a few things about our Fuse +Plus Polarized + Anti-Reflective Coating lenses that make them distinct from our other tier lenses. Follow these checks below:
- Packaging:
All Fuse +Plus Polarized + Anti-Reflective Coating Lenses will come in an all black zipper case with Fuse +Plus sleeve, most of the time. There may be exceptions to this if we are running a special promotion, or if your lenses were simply packaged wrong in error.
- Polarization:
All Fuse +Plus lenses are polarized. There is a really easy check to do. You can hold the two lenses on top of each other, looking through them. Then, start to turn one, if they are polarization, the view through the lenses will start to darken, and eventually black out. Find out more about polarization and the polarization test here.
Yes, we do have one other tier of lenses that are polarized, but it can help to do this check!
- Engraving:
All Fuse +Plus Polarized + Anti-Reflective Coating lenses will come with a "Fuse" engraving on the left lens! If you were used to the engraving in the past, please note that we have recently updated it! Due to demand, we have removed the "+" sign and adjusted the curve of the engraving for a cleaner look - we hope you like it! At this time, we only engrave our Fuse +Plus Polarized + Anti-Reflective Coating lenses. If your lenses do not have an engraving, it could be possible that someone skipped the step in error. Just let customer service know that you would like a set with an engraving!
- Ion Backside Coating:
This is the final check, and the most important! Your Fuse +Plus Polarized + Anti-Reflective Coating lenses will ALWAYS have a backside Ion anti-reflective coating. Read more about the Ion Anti-Reflective coating here. There is no lab error that would cause your lenses to not have this distinct coating. You can check if your lenses have this by looking at the back side of your lenses below a light source. There will be a slight shimmer that can be anywhere from green, blue, or purple in color. If you do not see any shimmer on the back of your lenses, it is very possible you were sent the wrong lenses in error. Please let customer service know you did not see the ion coating!
