Detailed Breakdown by Feature

1. Lenses Sold as Pairs Only (No Single Lenses)

  • Full Set Included: Every order includes both the Right and Left lenses.

  • Why Both Lenses Must Be Replaced: Fuse Lenses are our own custom-manufactured optical replacement lenses. Because our materials, color tints, and optical properties may vary slightly from your original (OEM) lenses, replacing only one side can cause visual imbalance, color distortion, or eye strain.

2. Mirrored Lenses & Eye Privacy

  • Full Eye Coverage: Strong mirror coatings (such as Chrome or Glacier Mirror) completely hide your eyes from view.

  • Flash Mirror Finishes: Options like Midnight and Carbon Mirror feature a subtle, "flash" mirror coating. While they obscure your eyes better than non-mirrored lenses, they are not 100% opaque in all lighting.

3. Scratch Resistance & Care Tips

  • Hard-Coated Protection: Every Fuse lens includes a protective anti-scratch hard coating. Our Fuse PRO and Fuse AMP tiers feature our extra-dense Fuse Force scratch coating.

  • Best Options for High-Wear Environments: If scratch resistance is your top priority, we recommend non-mirrored options like G15 (Green) or Grey. Non-mirrored lenses maintain their surface integrity longer under heavy daily wear.

  • Covered Under Warranty: Scratches happen! Every pair of lenses is covered under our Lifetime, 1-Time Replacement Warranty.

4. Manufacturing & Safety Specs

  • Made in Palm Harbor, FL: We are proud to custom-cut, package, and ship all orders directly from our Palm Harbor, Florida facility.

  • ANSI Z87.1 Impact Standards: All Fuse lenses meet or surpass ANSI Z87.1 standards for impact resistance and driving suitability. However, because official ANSI safety ratings require testing the lens assembled inside the specific original factory frame, replacement lenses cannot be stamped with safety markings. This option is available for prescription lenses.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I buy just a right or left replacement lens?

    • No. We only sell lenses in complete pairs (Right & Left) to prevent visual imbalance or tint mismatches with original OEM lenses.

  • Which Fuse mirror colors completely hide your eyes?

    • Strong mirror finishes like Chrome or Glacier Mirror provide complete coverage and block out your eyes entirely.

  • Are Fuse replacement lenses scratch-proof?

    • No optical lens material is 100% scratch-proof, but all Fuse lenses feature durable anti-scratch coatings and are backed by our lifetime scratch warranty replacement.
