My new lenses don't fit or keep popping out. What should I do?Updated an hour ago
We guarantee fit. If your new Fuse Lenses are too small, too big, or keep popping out, contact us within 60 days of delivery, and we'll make it right, either by sending the correct size or by bringing your frames into our Palm Harbor, FL lab for a custom fit.
1. Double-check your frame model and size
Most fit issues come from a frame that looks almost identical to another model. Check the inside of the temple arm for the model name or number and the eye size (the first number, in mm), then compare it to the listing you ordered from.
Common lookalikes that use different lenses:
- Oakley Holbrook vs. Holbrook XL
- Oakley Half Jacket 2.0 vs. Half Jacket 2.0 XL
- Oakley Flak 2.0 vs. Flak 2.0 XL
- Costa Reefton vs. Reefton PRO
- Ray-Ban models offered in more than one eye size (for example, 54mm vs. 57mm)
Not sure which you have? See How to Identify Your Sunglasses Model, Size, & Brand Info. Manufacturers sometimes round eye-size numbers, so a small difference from the listed size is normal.
2. Check your installation
- Snap-in frames: Seat the lens in the top groove first, then press the bottom edge in while gently flexing the frame. Warming the frame slightly with warm (not hot) water can help.
- Frames with screws: Loosen the screw at the hinge or rim before inserting the lens, then tighten it back down.
- One side fits, the other doesn't: Make sure the left and right lenses haven't been swapped. The nose side of each lens is usually shaped differently.
Our How to Replace Your Lenses at Home guide and YouTube channel have step-by-step videos for many frames.
3. Contact us, and we'll fix it
If the lenses still don't fit, reach out to Customer Service at [email protected] with:
- Your order number
- A photo of the inside of your temple arm showing the model and size
- A photo of the new lens next to your original lens (or in the frame showing the gap)
Depending on what we find, we'll do one of the following:
- Send the correct size if your frame is already on file.
- Bring your frames in for a custom fit: we'll send a prepaid box so our lab can trace your exact frame and install a fresh set of lenses.
We offer prepaid shipping labels for Free Exchanges/Returns, so you do not have to worry about anything.
Older frames that no longer hold lenses
Over years of use, some frames (especially older plastic or wire frames) stretch and stop gripping lenses as tightly. In that case, a custom fit through our lab is usually the best option, since we cut the lenses to your frame's current shape. Note that Fuse does not repair frames.
